Who We Are
AnyStage Theater is a ensemble production company based in the DC Metro Area that seeks to bridge the gap between younger and older audiences. Through the development of new plays and the re-imaginings of classics, AnyStage celebrates the weird and wonderful parts of life and the triumphs that spring out of tragedy.
Andrew Brockmeyer is a sound designer currently studying theater at the College of William and Mary. He is a hobbyist writer and pyromaniac in his spare time. He recently wrote AnyStage's next original play SuperFriends.
Kirsten Grady is a wannabe historian, writer, acceptable costumer, reasonably adept musician, and okay-ish actor. She is a graduate of The College of William & Mary, and brings her passion for StarWars and cats to every project she touches. She serves as costumer and registered grownup to Anystage theater
David Koenigsberg is barely an adult and serves as resident idea guy for AnyStage Theater Company, for better or for worse. He is currently pursuing a degree in theatre at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Aria Velz has a BFA in Applied Theater Arts from The University of the Arts. She is a dramaturg, stage manager, and director in the DC metro area.
John-Nicholas Walsh studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. He's performed professionally in film, television and theater. At AnyStage Theater, he's written original pieces and has previously directed Hamlet and The Laramie Project.
Zack Walsh is a NOVA based art person who does stuff with AnyStage sometimes.Recently, his short film The Nubbening received critical acclaim at the Spooky Empire International Horror Festival, and his screenplay Prosperity Creek was nominated for Best Feature Length Screenplay at Frights, Camera, Action. He also writes reviews for punchdrunkcritics.com, and teaching after school theater at a local middle school. In his spare time, he sleeps. firstname.lastname@example.org
